'He was a lonely ghost uttering a truth that nobody would ever hear. But so long as he uttered it, in some obscure way the continuity was not broken. It was not by making yourself heard but by staying sane that you carried on the human heritage.'

It's been a while between drinks!

There's a certain naive romance associated with resisting the establishment (in whatever form that may be), but sooner or later you must take stock of your efforts.

What's needed now is more than just chasing headlines, which I am guilty of. It's glaringly obvious that it doesn't seem to matter that society's problems are staring people in the face. Humanity has perfected escapism, breeding endless apathy through the daily distractions we are willingly fed.

We need to look beyond the diversions, beyond the superficial headlines and recognise the true motives of those that wield power. It's occurring all around us, the transformation of life into something unrecognisable, it's time to stop running away from our responsibilities and stand up against those who would remove our rights and freedom.

We have been led down the wrong path for far too long.
